We are excited to welcome six new teachers to our Mt. View family. They are replacing staff that have retired, moved into other positions or on to other opportunities. Our new staff members are already hard at work preparing their classrooms.
Here they are:

Hello everyone! My name is Katelyn Bolstad and I am so excited to be teaching second grade this year! I recently graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane with my bachelors in elementary education. I feel so blessed to have landed in a school like Mt. View for my first year of teaching. When I'm not teaching I love to spend time baking or with my head stuck in a book 📚 I can't wait to see the adventures this new school year brings!
Hello, Mt. View Community! I’m Ms. Greenberg and I am very excited to be teaching fourth grade this year at Mt. View! I’m from Camas, Washington, but recently graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, with my degree in elementary education. This will be my first year teaching and I could not be more excited to start this wonderful journey here in Shelton! I enjoy learning new things, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family! I’m honored to be a part of the Mt. View and Shelton communities! GO VIKINGS 💙🌊🎉
Hi! My name is Grace Galloway and I’m excited to be a part of the Mountain View Staff as a kindergarten teacher! I grew up in Olympia, and I just graduated from Washington State University! In my free time I like to read and hang out with family. I can’t wait to meet my students and start the school year!

Hi! I'm Leah Munro. I'll be teaching first grade this year at MTV. This will be my second-year teaching and I'm so excited to be a Viking! I've been a part of the Shelton community my whole life and it's been awesome being able to raise my two boys in the place where I grew up as well. My husband and I are both teachers, he runs the weight room at Shelton High School. We sure love our summers but I'm really looking forward to this school year!

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley McGrew. I am a first-year teacher here at Mt. View, teaching 2nd grade. Fun fact about me is that I went to Mt. View when I was a kid and worked here as well as a paraeducator a few years ago. I am so excited to now be a teacher here at MTV, the place where my education started! I was raised here in Shelton and so thankful to now be making a difference in a place that shaped me. When I am not in the classroom, I love to spend my time playing disc golf with my husband, taking my two dogs on adventures, and visiting family and friends. As much as I love the summer weather and summertime, I am so ready for this fall!

Hi! My name is Liz Hanson. I have been hanging around Mt. view for quite awhile as a para educator and most recently long term subbing for kindergarten and 1st grade. I am so excited to be starting my first year with my own class from start to finish. If I am not at school you will most likely find me at a soccer match or taking a nap!
As you can see, we have a great new group of teachers here at Mt. View. Say hi when you see them!
