Billy Frank Jr. Day
March 9th is an important day at Mt. View. We celebrated the life and work of Billy Frank Jr. He was a Nisqually tribal leader, who was also a treaty rights activist and worked so hard as an environmental advocate and steward of the land. Our students learned that through his lifelong commitment to salmon and salmon habitat, we now have many groups working together to ensure that salmon will always be here in the Pacific Northwest. \
