Principal's Message

Welcome to 2025 - Viking News Hello MTV Families,   I hope you had a great Winter Break and 2025 is off to an amazing start for you! It was awesome to see our students return last week and there is some tremendous learning happening as we begin January. Our staff and students are working hard and there is some amazing growth taking place every day.   Please take look at a couple of important dates below.   Important Dates   1/15 (TOMORROW) - Early Release (2:00 PM student dismissal) 1/15 - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Assembly - 1:00 PM 1/20 - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday - No School 1/31 - 3 Hour Early Release - staff training (12:30 PM student dismissal)   A couple last thoughts for the week and beyond. Being at school and reading at home are two huge predictors of student growth and success. Please encourage your kids to pick up at book at home each night.
